A 45-year-old male presents with a 1-2 cm white lesion on the upper labial mucosa, noted incidentally during routine dental appointment.
The lesion is slightly firm, sore on palpation, and has a central superficial ulcer. The patient was unaware of its presence.
Medical history includes GORD, childhood asthma, eczema, HPV booster earlier in the year, and a past history of sexually transmitted disease. He is a non-smoker with minimal alcohol intake. No systemic symptoms were reported....
