Learn all about Australia’s Clinician Vaccine Integrated Platform in this 45-minute session.
The Clinician Vaccine Integrated Platform (CVIP) is a digital platform designed to manage vaccinations and report vaccination information to the Australian Immunisation Register. The system is available to any recognised vaccination providers, such as medical practitioners, pharmacists, nurses and midwives.
The system is free to use and is available online through a web browser or can be downloaded as an app. Some of the key features of the CVIP system include:
- integration with the Commonwealth Booking Platform (operated by Healthengine)
- patient self-check in
- review of current AIR history
- barcode scanning function to quickly record the supply of a vaccine
- reporting to AIR
- end-of-day reconciliation with uploaded AIR encounters
