Dr Heather Lyttle has been appointed as the new Public Health Physician for the WA Country Health Service (WACHS) – Pilbara. Dr Lyttle's role, which is new to the Pilbara, will include overseeing public health programs, evaluating the causes and trends of diseases and advising on public health planning and strategies for the future.
Prof Campbell Murdoch has ceased to be the Head of the UWA School of Primary, Aboriginal and Rural Health Care and the Rural Clinical School of WA. There is no word as yet on his replacement.
