GPs are invited to participate in this new edition of the survey, which closes Sunday 9 May.
Your opinion counts! Help RACGP’s advocacy efforts by completing the 2021 General Practice: Health of the Nation survey. The results of the survey will provide critical information to improve our understanding of the many different and evolving aspects dealt in general practice.
RACGP fellows should have received a survey link on Tuesday 20 April. Upon completion of the survey, participants will enter a draw to win one of two digital registrations for GP21
About the survey
Each year RACGP’s General Practice: Health of the Nation report provides a comprehensive overview of Australian general practice. Among the topics covered, are facts and trends in general practice, as well as strengths, emerging issues, and areas of focus for future policy action.
“I invite GPs to have your say, be open about your experiences – both rewarding and challenging – in your day-to-day practice,” said RACGP President Dr Karen Price said, in a RACGP news report.
‘Your responses will contribute to delivering a unique insight into Australian general practice, what drives our healthcare system and what improvements need to happen to shape the future of primary healthcare.’
Some of the topics you can expect to find in this year’s survey include:
- Issues around the management of patients with multimorbidity;
- access to primary healthcare services within general practices and aged care facilities;
- the impact of COVID-19 on general practice;
- GP career satisfaction.
The deadline for submitting your answer is Sunday 9 May.
