The Opportunity
We are seeking a General Practitioner with experience in skin cancer medicine to join our growing team in Perth.
This role is ideal for a GP who:
- Has a strong interest in dermoscopy and skin cancer diagnosis
- Enjoys procedural medicine
- Values working with advanced imaging technology
- Is passionate about prevention and early detection
- Wants to practise in a purpose-built, modern clinical environment
You will be supported by high-resolution imaging systems, structured clinical protocols, and a collaborative team committed to excellence in skin health.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive full-body skin cancer checks
- Conduct dermoscopic assessment of pigmented and non-pigmented lesions
- Perform biopsies (punch, shave, excision)
- Undertake surgical excisions of skin cancers (SCC, BCC, melanoma in situ and selected invasive melanomas)
- Develop management plans including cryotherapy, field therapy and follow-up protocols
- Provide clear, evidence-based patient education
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Essential Criteria
- Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner
- Fellowship of RACGP or ACRRM (or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience in skin cancer medicine
- Proficiency in dermoscopy
- Experience in procedural skin cancer management
- Professional indemnity insurance
Highly Regarded
- Certificate / Advanced Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine
- Certificate in Dermoscopy
- Experience with total body photography or 3D imaging systems
- Interest in contributing to patient education and preventative health programs
