In Medical Forumโs Meet the doctor series we introduce you to specialists working in WA, the services they provide and what they can offer your patients.
What is your area of practice?
I am a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a special interest in fertility, recurrent miscarriage, and early pregnancy complications. Supporting women and couples through early pregnancy โ particularly during times of uncertainty or loss โ is a central focus of my clinical practice.
I am currently the Early Pregnancy Lead at King Edward Memorial Hospital, where I am actively involved in the assessment and management of early pregnancy complications and pregnancy loss, as well as service development and clinical leadership within this field.
My work in this role allows me to combine evidence-based medicine with compassionate, patient-centred care at a critical time in patientsโ lives.
In addition to early pregnancy and fertility care, I have a strong interest in gynaecological endocrinology, including menstrual disorders, perimenopause and menopause. I enjoy caring for women across all stages of life and supporting them through hormonal transitions with clear information, practical management strategies, and individualised care plans.
Where did you train?
I obtained my medical degree in Poland and completed all my postgraduate training, including specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, in Manchester in the United Kingdom. Training within the NHS provided extensive exposure to complex obstetric and gynaecological care, multidisciplinary teamwork, and high clinical standards.
I relocated to Perth three years ago and currently work as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at King Edward Memorial Hospital. This role enables me to remain closely involved in tertiary-level care while also offering personalised private care informed by current best practice and international training experience.

What procedural services do you offer?
I provide a comprehensive range of obstetric and gynaecological procedures, including early pregnancy ultrasound, medical and surgical management of miscarriage, inpatient and outpatient hysteroscopy, diagnostic laparoscopy and sterilisation procedures.
I also perform IUD insertions, colposcopy, fertility-related procedures including egg retrievals and embryo transfers, and other core gynaecological procedures.
My procedural practice is guided by safety, precision, and patient comfort, with clear communication at every stage.
How is your service different?
My practice is holistic and strongly patient-centred. I place great importance on listening, clear explanation, and shared decision-making. Each patientโs care is tailored to their medical needs, personal circumstances, and priorities.
By combining public hospital leadership experience with private practice care, I aim to provide a service that is clinically rigorous, compassionate, and supportive โ particularly for patients navigating fertility challenges, early pregnancy complications, or hormonal change.
