Selective Internal Radiation Therapy in liver cancer

Selective Internal Radiation Therapy (SIRT), also known as radioembolisation, is an established minimally invasive treatment for both primary liver cancers and cancers that have spread to the liver.

By delivering radiation directly into tumours via the hepatic arterial supply, SIRT allows highly targeted treatment while limiting radiation exposure to normal liver tissue.
