Media and Publications officer Coby Pearson has left Osborne Division of General Practice after nine years of service to start up her own desktop publishing business. Her replacement has yet to be named.
Dr Brian Galton-Fenzi has become a director on the Industrial Foundation for Accident Prevention board. Brian continues as an occupational and environmental health consultant with Gemini Health Services.
A/Prof Jiake Xu from UWA’s School of Surgery and Pathology won the university’s Excellence in Teaching Award for Honours and Postgraduate Research Supervision. Dr Patrick Garratt (Primary, Aboriginal, and Rural Health Care – General Practice) was highly commended for his small group teaching.
Mr Ian Liddell has been appointed as Development Manager – Gifts with the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation. Ian was previously the CEO of Liddell Career Management.
