The one-day event will feature specialists in breast care from the Perth Breast Cancer Institute and Perth Radiological Clinic.
Breast Cancer Research Centre-WA is hosting a one-day education event aimed at covering a wide range of topics related to breast disease. Some of the topics covered include:
- Benign breast problems, including dense breasts, implants, fibroadenoma and other conditions;
- Diagnostics (e.g., When to recommend MRI);
- Early breast cancer contemporary issues;
- Advanced breast cancer;
- Survivorship issues including: menopausal symptoms, diet and exercise, fertility and bone health.
There will also be a discussion panel, where GPs can submit and discuss case examples.

This education forum is a RACGP approved Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activity, under the RACGP CPD Program.
