Gina Abdelnour is the new operations manager at Hollywood Fertility Centre. Stephen Junk left the position of Scientific Director HFC in August, to be replaced by Dr Michael Henman from Sydney IVF, which amalgamated with HFC earlier this year. Dr Jane Pillow, neonatologist and senior lecturer in the School of Women's and Infants' Health, was awarded the Sylvia and Charles Viertel Senior Medical Research Fellowship. Only two fellowships are awarded each year. Dr Pillow is the first West Australian recipient. The fellowships are valued at $195,000 per year and provide both salary and project grant support for outstanding Australian medical researchers.
