Webinar: update on type 2 diabetes management

This RACGP free webinar aims to provide general practitioners with the latest updates on Type 2 Diabetes management.

Type 2 diabetes is a chronic condition where the body does not produce normal levels of insulin, a hormone needed to regulate blood sugar levels. The condition can lead to disorders of the circulatory, nervous, and immune systems, and currently affects about 1 million Australian adults, according to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare.

This RACGP free webinar will provide GPs with a comprehensive update on therapies, sick days, definition of remission, and current guidelines.

The webinar will be hosted by Dr Gary Deed (Chair, RACGP Diabetes Specific Interest Group) and Dr Tom Dover (endocrinologist, dietitian and exercise physiologist).
