Event: Health Forum and E-Vehicle Expo

Doctors for the Environment is co-hosting a one-day event to improve our understanding of how technology is affecting our health.


The one-day event will feature presentations by leading experts, discussing topics on climate change and its effects on health as well as the impact of fossil fuel emissions on the environment. The event will also include displays and demonstrations of electric cars, scooters, skateboards and bikes, as well as associated Electric Vehicle technologies.

The event will include the following presentations:

  • The environmental impact of fossil fuels and electric vehicle technologies. Presenters:
    • Dr Chris Curry (fossil fuels);
    • Professor Thomas Bräunl (E-vehicles)
  • Climate change and healthy resilient communities, challenges and opportunities. Presenters:
    • Emeritus Professor Fiona Stanley
    • Dr George Crisp (General practitioner)
    • Jasmine Keift (clinical psychologist), and
    • Professor Ray Wills (sustainability expert).
