Occupational physician A/Prof Dr Tony Hochberg has been appointed as Medical Director of Occupational Medicine at Gemini Medical. Dr Hochberg will help train and undertake quality assessment of the company’s Occupational Health doctors across the country. His position was created following the acquisition of Gemini Medical by Sydney-based IPN – the second largest operator of medical centres in Australia.

Debra Salway has stepped down as Director of Business Development, Mercy Hospital, to take up the role of CEO at WA GP Network, replacing Chris Carter, who left a few months prior to become Perth Primary Care Network’s CEO. Mercy Hospital has yet to appoint Debra’s replacement.

R&D firm NeuroDiscovery has appointed Morgan Barron as company secretary following the resignation of Narelle Warren.

Cedric Goode has been appointed as CEO and managing director of medical equipment and services company NSL Health. David Macoboy, Jaydeep Biswas, and Jim Malone have been appointed as directors, while Faldi Ismail has resigned as non-executive director.

Peter King has been appointed as CEO of biotech BioPharmica.

Current director Roger Smith has stepped up as non-executive chairman of medical technology company Genesis Biomedical in the wake of Rodger Johnston’s departure. Gordon Sinclair Hatch has been appointed as non-executive director.

Biotech company Avita Medical has finalised a two year contract with current CEO Dr William Dolphin. Dr Dolphin was initially appointed as CEO in June after leading Visiomed into the merger with fellow biotech Clinical Cell Culture to form Avita.
