Registrations open: national conference for practice owners

Registrations are now open for the 2022 RACGP practice owners national conference, aimed at current or aspiring practice owners and practice managers.

The RACGP is organising the 4th RACGP practice owners national conference, to be held virtually and in-person. Registrations are available for either version of the conference.

The 2-day event aims to develop your practice ownership skills and provide network opportunities with other doctors and health care professionals. According to the official website, the conference is aimed at:

  • current practice owners
  • aspiring practice owners
  • practice managers
  • rural and remote practice owners.

The conference will be held at the Hotel Grand Chancellor, in Hobart, Tasmania, but there will be a live digital version of the conference available to watch on demand, until December 2022.

In parallel to this new conference, the RACGP also announced the establishment of a grant to honour the late RACGP president, Dr Harry Nespolon. The new grant aims to fund research into GP Wellbeing.
