Salary: $238,000 p.a. (pro rata) + Super + Medicare incentives

The Role (Snapshot)
As a GP at DYHS, you’ll collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, culturally appropriate primary care. Your work will include general practice, health promotion, chronic disease management, and contributing to continuous quality improvement.
You’ll also:
- Lead and mentor clinical staff and students
- Help shape clinical policy, systems & accreditation
- Ensure proper Medicare claiming and use of digital health tools
- Build relationships with allied health specialists for coordinated care
Who You Are
- Registered General Practitioner (AHPRA)
- Current provider & prescriber numbers
- FRACGP / FACRRM / vocational registration
- Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical skills
- Cultural awareness and respect for Aboriginal health values
Desirable:
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
- Experience in women’s, children’s or emergency health care; supervisor accreditation; AGPAL understanding.
Extras & Requirements
- Valid Working with Children check
- Satisfactory National Police Clearance (less than 6 months old)
- Valid driver’s licence
- Pre-Employment Health Assessment
- Flexibility to travel between clinics
- Commitment to work a minimum of 1 day per week (0.2 FTE).
